What is microdosing Accutane?
A lower, more gradual isotretinoin dosing protocol some providers use instead of a standard fixed dose, to ease side effects while still working toward clearer skin. Your provider decides if it's right for you.
Is this safe?
Isotretinoin carries an FDA boxed warning, including a risk of severe birth defects in pregnancy, plus possible dry skin, lipid or liver changes, and rare mood effects. Your provider evaluates your fit and monitors you with required bloodwork.
Do I need bloodwork?
Yes. Regular labs are required, and your Thea provider orders and coordinates them for you.
What if I could become pregnant?
You'll need two forms of contraception and monthly pregnancy testing under the FDA's iPLEDGE program for the full course of treatment.
Is Thea available in my state?
Thea is currently available in select states. You'll confirm eligibility during intake.
Can I cancel anytime?
You can cancel your subscription to Thea at any time. When you cancel, you stop all future automatic renewal charges.
- Paid Subscriptions: You will keep full access to all Thea premium features until the end of your current billing period.
- Free Trials: If you cancel during a free trial, your access will terminate at the end of the trial period.
- The 24-Hour Rule: To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
- Time Zones: Renewal dates are based on the time zone of the platform where you purchased your subscription.
- Non-Refundable: All charges for Thea premium services are non-refundable.
- No Prorated Refunds: We do not offer partial refunds or credits for unused days in a billing cycle.
- Founding Pricing: If you cancel, you will no longer be eligible for founding member's pricing.

- Apple App Store: Manage via your iOS device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
